Slow progress
Can it be two months since I last posted? Progress is slow, mostly because I’ve been working on 16 paintings since December (for commercial clients), and 5 more to finish by end of May. Also, I realized that in the big painting the cats were too small, so I wiped out the initial shapes; and in the process, discovered that I liked how that looked. So I’m reworking that whole area. The inspiration is building, I can’t wait to finish this up. In the meantime, here’s a shot of my crowded studio …

I hardly use markers anymore since Photoshop came along, so this was a rare opportunity to color something by hand.
If my art ever becomes famous, they’ll be able to date the work by the type of cat hair found in the paint layers!
